Overview

Represent Bi-Con Services, Inc in the natural gas and energy services market. Facilitate the development of existing customers and establish new customers.

 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing new business opportunities, expanding our market presence, and cultivating strong relationships with potential clients and industry partners in the manufacturing and O & M divisions. This position requires a proven track record in business development, sales, and client management.

 

This position would be based out of our office near Cambridge, Ohio. 

Responsibilities

  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings, gather bid information, and relay information to estimating department.
  • Collaborate with divisions to craft and deliver client-specific solutions.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences and networking events to enhance service promotion and establish new business relationships.
  • Coordinate marketing and business development activities targeted at specific markets in the manufacturing and O & M divisions.
  • Manage and update client and sales records.
  • Inform the management team of sales activities and provide estimated timelines for proposals and bids.
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to perspective clients.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities and formulate strategies to secure significant projects across diverse industries.
  • Generate regular reports on business development, sales outcomes, and emerging market trends in the manufacturing and O & M divisions.
  • Monitor changes in customer corporate structure and communicate information to division leadership.
  • Stay in contact with local engineers and architects to be aware of upcoming projects.
  • Partner with other divisions for business development support as needed.
  • Perform additional responsibilities and duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Five (5) + years of business development, sales, marketing, or design experience or commensurate work experience in the natural gas or welding industry.
  • Preferred degree (2+ years) in marketing or business development.
  • Highly motivated with ability to work independently and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, documentation skills, research, and resolution skills.
  • Previous B2B sales experience preferred.
  • Strong prospecting skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic, high integrity along with a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task customer issues and visits.
  • General knowledge of the construction process; from preconstruction through project closeout and contract knowledge.
  • Ability to create routine reports and correspondence, as well as the ability to calculate and apply mathematical concepts.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint.
  • Up to 60% regional travel required (some overnight stays).
