Full time Electrical Foreman opportunity with a well-established organization.  Benefits include 100% of health insurance premium paid for by the company (single and family) along with competitive wages and per diem.


The Electrical Foreman assists the project supervisor with oversight and management of the employees and the work at multiple locations on a job site. Foreman also manage and run smaller projects.  They are responsible for maintaining an efficient, productive and quality job site to include working with and/or directing employee work (i.e., running conduit, cable pulls, wire terminations, etc).  They are responsible to ensure all material and tools are on hand to complete assigned tasks and will review completed tasks to ensure they conform to specifications and Code. The Foreman also assists the Superintendent on planning the work on site, ordering material and receiving, distributing materials, and coordinating with the customer.



The primary job expectations will include but are not be limited to:

  • Establish and maintain performance goals set out by estimate, project schedule and cost.
  • Resolve conflicts related to construction of the project as well as personnel difficulties. Helps promote a positive morale and motivation of the workforce.
  • Maintains and manages safety on the project site to OSHA, Bi-Con and client standards.
  • Conduct daily safety huddles and all safety work permits needed to complete tasks.  Responsible for reporting weekly safety metrics.
  • Demonstrates the proper use of all PPE, tooling, equipment, and materials needed on project.
  • Understand and coordinate installation methods of civil, mechanical and electrical works, as to prevent interference of the final installation.
  • Provide technical assistance (i.e., interpretations of drawings) and makes recommendations to ensure best construction installation practices are followed.
  • Give direction and train helpers and journeymen in proper work installation practices to meet production needs.
  • Responsible for completing weekly schedule updates and cost to completes.


  • 8+ years direct experience in electrical construction.
  • Ability to read and interpret civil, mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Working knowledge of oil and/or natural gas industry preferred.
  • Ability to accurately install and train employees on bending and installing all types of conduit systems.
  • Ability to read and understand motor and transformer schematics and direct employees in the installations.
  • Installation of control and distribution equipment such as but not limited to switches, relays, circuit breaker panels, MCC’s, over current protection, parallel circuits, and control logic panels.
  • The use of testing equipment to troubleshoot multimeter, circuit tracers, toners, megger’s for power, control and grounding systems.
  • Installation of all electrical raceway systems all types of conduit, wireway and cable tray systems.
  • Perform work at various heights, up to 100’.  Perform work from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts or other safe work areas.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.  
  • Ability to plan, schedule, and organize tasks in an efficient manner to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to determine project scope by reading and reviewing drawings, scope and customer specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills; oral and written.
  • 100% travel within a 400 mile radius of Cambridge, OH.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends.
  • Have a very high regard for personal safety and others.
  • Ability to perform tasks wearing required PPE.
